Thomas R. Trout

 
Thomas R. Trout is a resident of New Albany, MS who grew up in Charleston, MS. He is a founding shareholder of Trout Law Firm, PLLC. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in English at the University, of Mississippi in 1971, he moved on to ear his Law Degree at the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1974. He even graduated law school in the top ten percent of his class.

After graduating from law school, Thomas Trout clerked on the MS Supreme Court under Justice William H. Inzer. Later on, in 1975 he was brought into the Washington County Public Defender's Office, where he began to defend those accused of crimes by the direction of John Webb. While in the public defenders office, T.R. was grew his experience by handling many felony cases and criminal appeals.
After moving to Albany in 1977, he joined the law firm of Darden, Sumners, Carter and Trout. While at this firm, he handled a variety of civil litigation cases. After further growing his career and experience in Albany, he opened his own firm in 1992. This allowed him to pursue a larger defense practice. While working on his own as a practitioner, Thomas took on a vast spectrum of criminal defense cases in the State and Federal Courts of Mississippi. In 1994, T.R. even argued in the United State Supreme Court in Shannon vs. U.S., which was followed by a job offer as a prosecutor in 3rd Circuit District Attorney's Office. From 1998 to 2008, T.R. was tasked with finding a verdict in many felony cases as a prosecutor.
 
In 2009, he opened The Trout Law firm that you see today, later partnering with his son, Clark, who has joined him in practice. Today, Thomas is a criminal defense and personal injury attorney, who focuses ihis practice on representing individuals accused of a crime or those who have suffered and injury resulting from another party's negligence. Additionally, his misdemeanor practice includes defending those accused of DUI (driving under the influence).
Thomas Trout's wife, Beverly, is originally from Charleston, MS. They have four sons Mac, Clark, Troy, and Atkins. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, reading and gardening. Thomas and Beverly are both members of First United Methodist Church in New Albany, MS.

E. Clark Trout

 
Born in Memphis, TN, Clark is a native of New Albany, MS, where he grew up. Clark is also a founding Shareholder of Trout Law Firm, PLLC. He earned his Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Mississippi in 2002, and followed this with his Law Degree from Mississippi College School of Law. At Mississippi College School of Law, he was an active Law Student Bar Association member for the duration of his education. In his final year, Clark was elected as the Student Body President. While still in school, Clark Trout clerked for a personal injury litigation law firm and for the Mississippi Attorney General.

Upon earning his Law Degree, Clark was brought on as an associate with Porter & Malouf in Ridgeland, MS. During his time there, he prosecuted mass torts personal injury cases. Clark was hired on as an association and Langston & Langston in Jackson, MS, where he was able to handle numerous injury cases.
Today, Clark Trout is a criminal defense and personal injury attorney. He focuses his practice on representing individuals accused of a crime, as well as those injured due to another party's negligence. Clark handles a wide variety of personal injury litigation, but he specializes in trucking accidents, auto accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, defective pharmaceuticals & medical device claims, and wrongful death.
Additionally, Clark defends those accused of crimes in the Federal and State Courts of Mississippi. His healthy misdemeanor practice includes the defense of individuals accused of DUI (driving under the influence).
Clark's hobbies include fishing, hunting, wakeboarding, water skiing, golf, and he is an avid fan of Ole Miss. Clark and his wife have one son, Davis, and they all attend the Oxford-University United Methodist Church in Oxford, MS.
