E. Clark Trout

A native of New Albany Mississippi, Clark Trout was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in New Albany, Mississippi. Clark is one of the founding shareholders of Trout Law Firm, PLLC. He received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi in 2002 and his Law Degree from the Mississippi College School of Law, where he was active as a Law Student Bar Association member all three years. His final year, he was elected student body president. While in school, Clark clerked for the Mississippi Attorney General and for a law firm specializing in personal injury litigation.

Upon graduation from law school, Clark became an associate with Porter & Malouf in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where he prosecuted personal injury cases and mass torts.

In 2007, Clark was hired as an associate at Langston & Langston in Jackson, Mississippi. There he handled numerous catastrophic injury cases.

Currently, Clark is a personal injury and criminal defense attorney who devotes his practice to the representation of those injured as a result of someone else’s negligence and the defense of individuals accused of crime. Although Clark handles a wide spectrum of personal injury litigation, he emphasizes his practice in the area of automobile accidents, trucking accidents, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, wrongful death, defective pharmaceuticals/medical devices claims. Clark also defends individuals accused of crimes in the Mississippi State and Federal Courts. He has a healthy misdemeanor defense practice that includes the defense of individuals accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI).


Clark is married to Brenna Davis Trout. They have two sons, Davis and Jacob. Clark enjoys hunting, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, playing golf and is an avid Ole Miss Fan. He currently serves as the alumni advisor to the Epsilon Xi Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Ole Miss as well as serving on the fraternity’s Housing Board. 

 

He, along with his wife Brenna and sons Davis and Jacob, attend Oxford-University United Methodist Church in Oxford, Mississippi.
